Peoria reign supreme for another week and a few teams feature for the first time

TAMPA, Fla. – A month into the USL League Two season, many clubs remain undefeated, and lots of goals hit the back of the net. This week’s Power Rankings feature some hefty scorelines, big matchups and a few newcomers. See who made the top 20 this week:

17		 Making the biggest jump of the week, Fort Lauderdale United leaped into fifth place with two clean sheets against FC Miami City and St. Petersburg FC. They’ll play the fifth game of a six-game home stand tonight, looking to tie the league lead for wins.

2		 Des Moines beat Sunflower State FC at home by a convincing 4-1 scoreline. The defending Heartland Division champs will head south to play Santafe Wanderers, before an exciting clash with Springfield FC on Saturday.

Utah, the highest-seeded newcomers to the Power Rankings, recorded their third straight clean sheet with a road win. This Thursday they take on Flatirons FC looking to keep the shutout streak going.

FC Tucson put on a show for their home fans with a 19-0 thrashing of Coachella SC, who’ve struggled to keep the ball out of the net. Last season’s Western Conference champs take on AMSG FC this weekend and will hope they didn’t use up all their scoring power.

It was a record-setting weekend for Annapolis, drawing 12,853 fans to Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. The Blues hit the road tonight for a midweek clash against Virginia Beach United, but will host Lionsbridge FC on Saturday, a formidable test for the League Two newcomers.

18		 Laredo beat the 97-degree heat and Corpus Christi with a 4-1 result. Next up is an opportunity to extend their division lead against Houston FC who have had mixed results so far.

Last Week:
5		 Lionsbridge earned a point thanks to a 90th minute equalizer and saved their undefeated start to the 2025 season. This week will be a good test with two games coming up, including a trip to Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium to face Annapolis Blues FC.

11		 Asheville City have now scored 15 goals in their first two games after a 5-0 takedown at East Atlanta FC. Having only two games played keeps them in the bottom half this week, but their game against SSA tonight will show if their big margin victories are here to stay.

16		 Snohomish United are shaping up well in a busy Northwest division. Last week's loss ended their winning streak, but a five game homestand on the horizon provides a great opportunity for them to challenge Ballard FC for the top spot

The Rough Riders have come out of the gate running, as expected from the back-to-back Metropolitan Division champions. This weekend they’ll face off with FC Motown STA, another chance to see what they’re made of this season.

West Chester has been one spot out of the playoffs for the past three years, but a strong start to this campaign may help them change their fate. Real Central NJ will be a good measuring stick as the season marches on.
19 San Francisco Glens SC

Last Week:
8		 The Glens had the week off since their home victory over Almaden FC. The reverse fixture will show off how they used their extra practice time as they push to return to the playoffs for the first time since 2023.
20 Western Mass Pioneers

Last Week:
9		 Western Mass has become a perennial playoff team in League Two and showed that potential with the hard-fought draw against Seacoast United two weeks ago. They’ll be eager to get back on the pitch against NEFC, who have been a mixed bag of results through three games.
